Things To Do in Lincolnshire

If you’re the adventurous sort, you’ve got the entire county of Lincolnshire to explore, not just Lincoln. Here’s just a handful of interesting places to discover…

1 hour drive

Lions, and tigers, and bears…oh my!

The Wolds Wildlife Park has all of these and more. There are also zebras, emus, tropical birds, reptiles, and many more. They also play host to a kookaburra that likes to hide in its enclosure. Even if you can’t spot it, you’ll definitely be able to hear it.

20 minute drive

Navigate the treetops at Normanby Hall with Go Ape. Not for the faint-hearted, do you have what it takes to get from one side of the course to the other?

Once you get the hang of it, there’s even challenges you can take on. Head out to Go Ape if you want to experience one of the best days out in Lincolnshire.

Spend the day exploring.

There’s so much to see and do at Elsham Gardens, you’ll never want to leave. Why not see if you can find the secret garden? And, inside the walled garden you might even be lucky enough to find some farm animals.

Dive into history.

Grimsby is famous for it’s fishing docks. The centre will transport you back in time to the 1950s, and you can experience the true heyday of Grimsby port. You can also tour the M.F.V. Ross Tiger, the earliest diesel engine trawler preserved in the UK.
