Great stay
Great hotel and facilities. Spa treatment was amazing! Restaurant food lovely but Tanya definitely made our night! She is an asset to the business!
Girlie night out
Visited the restaurant on Saturday 15th August with family. We were all served by Tanya, who looked after as extremely well- smiling, trying to help with advice, being so quick with taking orders and serving. Thank you, Tanya for looking after us and being so attentive. I can recommend the food and the service 100%.
Great golf and lovely hotel
Loved the golf and hotel - should have done less golf because I didn’t use the lovely facilities as much as I would have liked
Beautiful hotel but not the best welcome
We'd already stayed here in the past so it wasn't a difficult decision staying again. Gorgeous hotel, rooms are lovely, very clean and perfect location for our stay. However, we weren't overly impressed with our welcome or watching others having issues when we arrived. This is based on our experience alone but we realised we were not on our own in suffering issues regarding the reception staff and hotel policies in general. I called to check if there were accessible rooms available before jumping on Booking.com to do my booking. They are my go to. However I was talked into placing a booking for 2 rooms at over £160 each because I was told they were the only rooms available of that kind for our dates. Firstly I cannot believe that my 84 year old disabled mother was charged the same as we were for our king room for 2! Secondly after this was booked thinking it would be cheaper direct as is for alot of hotels, we find vastly cheaper prices on Booking.com for the same rooms which were still available! We felt very cheated and upon bringing this up got bluntly told we were too late to argue the toss or get any type of discount. Added to which according to a sign in reception, if we booked direct we should have received a 10% discount. This was not noted on our invoice! We do not have money to burn and returned to the hotel based on a previous lovely experience so this was not a great start to what should have been a nice weekend celebration. There were 2 further issues with family's whilst we were debating ours on arrival and the members of staff just didn't seem respectful or attempt to compromise. It came across as rules are rules and there's no room for compromise. Its a beautiful hotel, this won't deter from us staying again and we won't be going direct to book again but feel we need some compensation for this really unsettling situation.

Beautiful Stay
I recently visited a hotel in Lincolnshire as part of a coach tour and was extremely impressed. The hotel was excellent, the service was excellent, and the food was outstanding. Lovely Alex is so kind and helpful. I would especially like to mention Angela on reception, who went above and beyond to look after my needs. Her care, kindness and professionalism made a real difference to my stay. Angela is an absolute asset to the company and should be truly cherished. Staff who provide this level of outstanding service deserve to be recognised. Thank you so much, Angela, for making my stay so enjoyable. You are a real credit to the hotel.
Great
Emily w in the grill restaurant was outstanding very helpful and informative
Evening meal
Lovely food service from Emily was excellent
A lovely break for our Wedding Anniversary.
Excellent golf course. Well looked after in the Golf bar before and after our game. Lovely evening meal.. thankyou Tanya who served us this evening in the restaurant
Amazing family hotel
Lovely family stay with my 11 & 9 year old. Our room was amazing, the food was fabulous & the kids loved the pool. The staff were all lovely & remembered my sons allergies for our dinner on the 2nd night. Will definitely be back.
Weekend break
I went with s friend for a spa weekend. We had a lovely stay. The staff were all very friendly and welcoming. The room was very good, with an excellent shower-we were upgraded from a standard twin to a superior twin, not sure why but it was a lovely surprise, thank you. We ate in the restaurant for our evening meal and whilst this was well presented and tasty unfortunately we had to send the starter of scallops back as they were almost cold. We enjoyed a lovely massage but were unable to use the spa facilities due to it being extremely busy, which did slightly spoil the weekend as that was the main reason for booking Forest Pines. That said we still plan on returning again in the future.
Birthday meal
Celebrated a birthday in the Grill restaurant where we received excellent service from both Gracie and Tanya. The food was delicious and the evening was made extra special by the service from the staff.
Great place to unwind and gain some mindfulness
Forest pines is set just south of the Humber near the bridge giving great access to all areas A really great reception so friendly and helpful, took time to to explain the hotel amenities, rooms are great . Clean , spacious and presented to a high standard
Golf and wedding anniversary
We came on a Golf package for our wedding anniversary and we were not disappointed. The golf course was challenging but in great condition; the hotel staff were thoughtful and friendly throughout our stay, which included a lovely gift in our room for our anniversary; the food was great at breakfast and in the evening. We will return in the future.
Great lunch
Stayed for a wedding. Lovely lunch prior in the restaurant. We're a picky crew food wise, but great service from our Anna our waitress!
60 minute deluxe facial with Yvie
I had the loveliest facial and couldn’t recommend her enough! She is so friendly, bubbly, and instantly makes you feel comfortable. She explains every step of the treatment as she goes, so you always know what’s happening and feel completely at ease. The shoulder massage was absolutely amazing and such a relaxing touch. Overall, it was a lovely experience from start to finish. I left feeling so refreshed, relaxed, and glowing. I can’t wait to book in again!
Amazing
Amazing service and function for the pre wedding party. Thanks to Coleen for being so helpful and ready to help carrying things required for the party.
