Great place, friendly welcome
Really great place to stay especially for a golf break. Staff in the hotel, restaurant, golf club and in the course couldn’t be friendlier and more helpful. The restaurant manager and Gracie G went above and beyond to make us feel welcome.
It’s all about nice staff…..👍🍷
Great friendly service tonight and excellent food!!! Big thanks to Gracie, couldn’t be nicer!!!
Lovely hotel and food. Friendly helpful staff
Both Mandy in golf bar and Gracie G in the restaurant displayed engaging customer service. Stayed for 4 nights and both took an interest in our stay and the activities. Remembering what we talked about. Assets to the team !
Lovely hotel stay
Had a lovely stay at Forest pines, myself and my mother in law were on a spa break and my husband and father in law on a golf break. Spa treatments and relaxation room were really lovely. Had a really nice meal at the hotel, Gracie G was our waitress, she was super helpful and friendly.
Overall very good
We’ve had a great stay at Forest Pines Hotel, Spa and Golf Resort. The hotel has been very good, great room! We have been on a Dinner Bed and Breakfast stay and most staff have been very attentive, some of the bar staff were more involved with their chat with colleagues than the customers. Alex, who was on duty in the hotel dining room on Wednesday evening was brilliant, very professional, attentive and helpful!
Lovely spa and golf hotel
Stayed at the hotel for a golf tournament Rooms were spacious staff very friendly and helpful especially Alex who looked after us in the restaurant and brought me a brownie for my birthday celebration Spa was good great facial by Summer and enjoyed Pilates mini ball fab instructor Overall an enjoyable stay
Friendly Hotel
Great food in the restaurant, good value and super service from Tanya! Thank you!
Golf bar 10/10 worth a visit
Played 18 holes today with a friend and want to pass on how helpful, friendly and attentive Becks in the golf bar was! Even though the bar was very busy she really made our day and went out her way for us. Thank you! We only came for the day but wish to pass on our thanks and appreciation. Lovely modern bar and the food was really good quality.
Great customer service
We enjoyed the hotel and golf course. We were on dinner bed and breakfast package and the service by Alex and Nakita was exemplary especially as the glass of wine brought to my table had wine dripping from the bottom of the glass staining my white trousers with red wine. They went above and beyond helping to remove most of the stain. Thank you
Dinner
Delicious evening meal served by Tanya who made the evening that bit more special
Perfect when you want the occasion to feel special
A wonderful birthday gift for me from my wife: a Spa Break Package at Forest Pines. We arrived and had a lovely lunch, checked in and went for our treatments in the spa. All staff were very helpful and the treatments excellent from Summer and Lisa. In the evening we had an exceptional meal in the restaurant - my wife had Lamb Rump, I had sirloin steak - both excellent with wonderfully attentive service from Tanya who made the evening feel very special for us both. The next day we were up for a swim and a delicious breakfast. All in all a lovely stay which felt luxurious without being overly posh or stuffy. Perfect when you want the occasion to feel special.
Great stay
Great hotel and facilities. Spa treatment was amazing! Restaurant food lovely but Tanya definitely made our night! She is an asset to the business!
Delightful Dinner
Had a lovely dining experience, Gracie and Tanya looked after me like a family member. Food was delicious, service was prompt, everything you could hope for when dining out, will happily continue returning.
Girlie night out
Visited the restaurant on Saturday 15th August with family. We were all served by Tanya, who looked after as extremely well- smiling, trying to help with advice, being so quick with taking orders and serving. Thank you, Tanya for looking after us and being so attentive. I can recommend the food and the service 100%.
Great golf and lovely hotel
Loved the golf and hotel - should have done less golf because I didn’t use the lovely facilities as much as I would have liked
Beautiful hotel but not the best welcome
We'd already stayed here in the past so it wasn't a difficult decision staying again. Gorgeous hotel, rooms are lovely, very clean and perfect location for our stay. However, we weren't overly impressed with our welcome or watching others having issues when we arrived. This is based on our experience alone but we realised we were not on our own in suffering issues regarding the reception staff and hotel policies in general. I called to check if there were accessible rooms available before jumping on Booking.com to do my booking. They are my go to. However I was talked into placing a booking for 2 rooms at over £160 each because I was told they were the only rooms available of that kind for our dates. Firstly I cannot believe that my 84 year old disabled mother was charged the same as we were for our king room for 2! Secondly after this was booked thinking it would be cheaper direct as is for alot of hotels, we find vastly cheaper prices on Booking.com for the same rooms which were still available! We felt very cheated and upon bringing this up got bluntly told we were too late to argue the toss or get any type of discount. Added to which according to a sign in reception, if we booked direct we should have received a 10% discount. This was not noted on our invoice! We do not have money to burn and returned to the hotel based on a previous lovely experience so this was not a great start to what should have been a nice weekend celebration. There were 2 further issues with family's whilst we were debating ours on arrival and the members of staff just didn't seem respectful or attempt to compromise. It came across as rules are rules and there's no room for compromise. Its a beautiful hotel, this won't deter from us staying again and we won't be going direct to book again but feel we need some compensation for this really unsettling situation.
