Absolutely amazing
It was so relaxing.. I had a lovely treatment by Yvie, she made it so comfortable.. I loved it. The Spa was great too everyone was lovely
A birthday stay I will never forget
Came to Forest Pines to celebrate my 40th birthday and the staff honestly made it so special. Andrea and Coral on reception went above and beyond with room decorations, a card and food. The spa massage with Amber was wonderful – she was so caring and made me feel completely at ease. The restaurant/room service team were incredible too – they went out of their way to accommodate my dietary needs after a stomach operation and even did this beautiful birthday presentation. Such a thoughtful touch and so appreciated. The staff truly make this place. Highly recommend.
Relaxing
Very friendly staff (reception (Coral) and in restaurant). Leisure facilities are 1st class- excellent pool, sauna , gymn and spa . Food was also good with plenty of choices on main menu. We could easily order 2 courses and be within our £30 allowance each. We upgraded to a suite and it proved an good move as weather was shocking.
Excellent stay - some tweaks would make it easier
Beautiful setting. Staff were friendly as you walked down the corridors. The refurbished rooms were good, restyled existing furniture. However the carpet and the laminate floor had a piece of carpet not attached to the gripper. The coffee machine was a wonderful home from home surprise. Excellent value. All areas seemed very clean. No impact of the loud noises. Tracy in the restaurant bar went above and beyond to accommodate medical dietary requirement. Proposed improvements Bathroom small mirror should be on a longer arm as the sink basin obstructed closer access. The long bedroom mirror and the small mirror on the opposite wall should be placed better, so that when using the hair dryer in the socket below you can see the back of your hair. Better outside lighting in the disabled car park area - wider spaces to allow you to easily remove mobility scooters to the side or rear of the vehicle. This could be achieve by hatching lines. Nearly got hit by several car coming around the corner too fast in the dark.
Really great
Chloe was amazing and really helpful she did everything right and she was really accommodating and looked us and made sure that we were looked after , she went out of her to make sure we were cared for , she was so good at making sure we had everything we needed
Chill out place
As always everyone from housekeeping, reception, restaurant food & staff, lounge staff and the spa area everyone was professional, friendly and very helpful. I had a wonderful facial, foot, leg, neck & shoulder massage by Amber who talked me through everything that was going to happen. The only problem was I didn't want it to finish. Forest Pines is our go to place to chill for a few nights.
Valentines trip away
Had a lovely 1 night stay last night for a valentines trip away. Staff: All lovely that we come across. Rooms: Clean, tidy and spacious. Comfy beds. Food: Afternoon tea bad, would not recommend! Scones so dry, little cakes tasted abit stale, sandwiches mediocre. Dinner and breakfast lovely. Best fillet steak I've had! Spa: Im a tad of a spa snob as ive been to some lovely spas and this one was more of a Leisure centre vibe with small steam/ sauna room so it wasnt the best. The gym however was great! Location: Usually these types of places are in the middle of nowhere but I liked how accessible it was to the main motorway and a shop if needed which we did, few minute drive up the road. Plenty of car parking spaces. Overall it was a nice little night away however I wouldnt be rushing to come back.
Comfortable hotel in good location
This was the first time we had stayed here as it was a christmas treat gift from my daughter. it was a miserable day so it was nice to get into a warm and welcoming place. Room was clean . We found it a bit chilly at night so asked for another duvet which was quickly supplied. Staff were so friendly , especially Matt in the restaurant who is so happy to oblige with any request. We had a lovely swim and chilled out in the jacuzzi. Food was really delicious and a lovely buffet breakfast. We will stay again , probably in the summer so we can enjoy a nice walk too!
Chloe is fantastic
Visited for a golf weekend, the local pub was terrible, but the lounge had a great atmosphere. Gutted because it was 38 quid in a taxi. Really appreciate Chloes absolutely fantastic service! Made the might great. Credit to the note.
An overnight that was pleasant but improvements are needed
The team at Forest Pines were very helpful, pleasant welcome and polite. I had a treatment at the spa, therapist Mary did a great facial so I'd recommend her. The food at breakfast was excellent however the evening meal was average and expensive. We had an overnight spa so there was £35 food allowance each, I had the steak pie, very average with not much steak, my friend had the steak which again was average. The room was spacious but dusty in the bathroom in places (room 108) and some maintenance id needed to the guttering outside the window - it was raining and the noice from the gutters which are probably blocked, resulted in a poor night's sleep. The pillows were also poor quality. To claim this is a spa, I think it not accurate, as there's a pool, a jacuzzi, steam and sauna so that part is more like a leisure centre. On the whole it was ok but I'm not sure I'd return.
Great service
Great food and service. Amber in the restaurant was helpful and friendly. Hotel amenities nice, great night away
Another nice visit.
Yet another very enjoyable stay at Forest Pines. Staff are very friendly and a special mention must go to Alex in the restaurant who, as usual was particularly nice and helpful. A gentle soul!
Perfection
Came here to treat my mother to a meal. We sat in the lounge which had a lovely calm atmosphere and very comfy furniture. We were served by Yasemin who provided exceptional service with a smile and answered any question we had and seemed very knowledgeable. The food was also exquisite and the gluten free options were impressive. Everyone left happy and we will definitely return. 5 star service
Good place for long business trip
Room was clean but technical issue with towel heater. No heating in the bathroom was a surprise for me at this time of the year. Breakfast was very good. Kitchen and service team in restaurant was very good! => Alex supported us most time at dinner, she made a great job! Very professional and on the point
Husband's birthday
It was my husband's birthday and the hotel gave him some extras which was appreciated The food was good and wine lovely. The lunches were excellent
My Stay
The dinner was very nice and the waitress Alex really looked after me.
Business trip
Stayed here for the second time in February 2026: lovely hotel, staff are friendly Had dinner in the restaurant both time and was looked after by Alex, what a helpful, pleasant young lady, nothing was too much trouble. Thank you xx
