Deluxe Family

Held a joint 60th Birthday Party & family reunion at the Forest Pines Hotel. Family came from the Falkland Islands, Australia, New Zealand, France & UK & stayed at the hotel for 3 nights. We had a fantastic time & were well looked after. I organised everything from 8,000 miles away in conjunction with Kiera, Events Manager & she made it so easy and nothing was a problem from sorting, food, decoration of the party room & the DJ. We all enjoyed our stay at the Forest Pines Hotel, fantastic golf course & we enjoyed a relaxing day after the party at the swimming pool & spa.

A very special family reunion. There was around 60 of us altogether. The whole occasion was exceptional. The grounds were at their best in the warm Spring sunshine. Everyone enjoyed getting together just outside the entrance where there was plenty of tables and chairs and a safe enclosed area for the little ones to run around. The staff were friendly, efficient and always helpful. The primary celebration in the Foresters Suite was just the right size for us to chat,catch up on each other 's or dance the night away. The portable dance floor was the only hiccup with the edges causing the occasional trip and one more serious fall. (Perhaps that could be altered slightly) The buffet was different to normal buffet fare but the food was delicious. Meals generally were lovely and breakfast appreciated by all. There was plenty of choice suitable for all tastes My husband and myself had lunch one day over in the golf club restaurant. His prawn sandwich was exceptional and he loved the beetroot hummus. I had Nachos which is a rare experience for me and I loved it. The Spa facilities and Gym were very popular We had a really memorable weekend. We are a big family and members were there from The Falklands Australia,New Zealand, France and all over Britain. All enjoyed it and although it was planned as a "one off" There's a feeling brewing that we need to repeat the experience.

I didn't think the spa car park was clearly signposted, but we asked someone and pointed in the right direction. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I was pointed in the direction of the disabled changing room, which was not well appointed. There were 2 lockers, one didn't work and the other couldn't be opened fully due to a chair up against it. I squeezed my stuff in through the gap I had made. The pool was busy with kids, so it made swimming a bit difficult, and after colliding with people for a while, I was able to do a few laps. The rest of the pool facilities were very good and we had a nice time in the sauna and steam room although it wasn't hot enough for me and being disabled I couldn't sit higher up in the sauna. We had booked afternoon tea, and we walked through the hotel to the dining room. The afternoon tea was delicious and just enough. I was very impressed with the variety. If I had a negative, it would be that I was only offered the 1 coffee and hadn't brought any money in my bathrobe for another. I had a facial, which was ok but nothing to write about. Overall, we had a nice time and would go again sometime, especially for the afternoon tea.

Great facilities, attentive staff, all round excellent

Before we go to the resort for a return visit, I want to commend the great customer service that Coleen from the events team has given us in assisting us to book using a voucher that I won in a charity auction. This has just added to our excitement for our return visit. The hotel, the food, the people and the golf course have always been of a high standard.

Food was great in the restaurant. Alex was amazing in the restaurant in the evening. Super attentive and made the evening fun for a group of golfers.

We enjoyed the golf but the restaurant experience was amazing. Our waitress Alex was amazing! She was so attentive and helpful, friendly and cheerful. Thank you From Dave, Nathan, Jon and Mark

Absolutely brilliant venue, the golf was fantastic and the staff couldn’t have been better. It was our first visit and Amy from The pines bar couldn’t have been better. Will definitely come back 👍🏽

I attended the CATCH annual dinner and was delighted by the exceptional service of the bar staff especially Thomas, Mollie and Yas who went over and above to provide me with a 5 star service. Thank you for your service

Staying over for the weekend, we had dinner in the restaurant and Alex served us. She was absolutely lovely! She was very friendly and asked us regularly if we would like anything else, if everything was okay, etc. Could not fault her! Thank you!

Planned a break for me and my partner and to propose at the same time! Coleen in events helped plan the entire thing with help from other staff all deserve praise as it was very well executed loved the stay and now have a happy future fiancé

Booked two rooms which were excellent, well maintained and clean. The staff were very helpful and polite. The breakfast provided an extensive range of food which was well cooked and displayed. Unfortunately we didn’t have time to explore the spar facilities, perhaps next time

We held an Annual Dinner here after years at a local venue. We were in the Forest Suite. The tables looking lovely on entry and I was greeted by Jess who was so helpful and friendly all night. I would say she went over and above for us all. The meals were very nice and all served efficiently by all the waiting on staff. Tom the Barman was very polite and speedy. We have had great feedback from attendees, many who stayed at the Hotel. Breakfast was plentiful and filling. So it was a great evening with excellent staff. Thank you all for looking after us 😊

Good rooms, food, drinks pricey but usually are at golf/spa hotels. Served by Anna in the lounge, very helpful and friendly. Overall an enjoyable break.
