Shopping in spring...

Lincoln’s Cathedral Quarter is a hub for small businesses. Spend the day checking out the homemade wares of the locals before heading down Steep Hill for the more mainstream stores.
Arboretum in spring...

The Arboretum is one of Lincoln’s many beautiful green spaces, perfect for a sunny spring day. Enjoy the serenity of the lakes and fountains, as well as the soft sound of birdsong from the local wildlife.
Lincolnshire Show in summer...
30 minute drive
The Lincolnshire Show is held at the Showground every summer as celebration of agriculture, aviation, food and heritage. Watch the Shetland Pony Grand National or the cooking demonstrations from the Lincolnshire Kitchen, there’s something for everyone.
Asylum Steampunk Festival in summer...
If you’re looking for slightly quirky things to do in Lincoln, this festival might be for you. The Asylum Steampunk Festival is the largest, and longest running, in the world. Celebrate the innovation of a steam-powered world and dive into the steampunk style.
Ghost Walks in autumn...
Lincoln has several haunted spots, and it’s never scarier than at Halloween. The Lincoln Ghost Walk even has a seal of approval from Tom Hanks, who went on one while filming in Lincoln Cathedral. If that’s not a sign, what is?
Street Food Festival in autumn...
Every year, Lincoln offers up a massive street food festival. With food from across the world, you’ll need all four days just to try everything once. And it’s not just food, there’s also a bar where you can try handmade moonshine all the way from Berlin.

While Lincoln no longer has a Christmas Market, they’ve decided instead to spread out the Christmas joy across the entire month December, as well as taking the celebrations citywide.
